Tartelette: Belle Époque is a packaging design concept I created during my solo capstone project at Tarte Cosmetics, proposing a new custom set of Tartelette shadow palettes.
The concept reimagines the Tartelette line through a vintage-inspired lens, drawing from early 1960s femininity, and elegance while remaining playful, chic, and relevant to today’s customer.
The project covered the full packaging process—from concept development and sketch exploration to dielines, color sampling, and production-ready packaging files.
The concept began with a curated visual moodboard exploring color, texture, typography, and beauty references, followed by a range of sketches. I selected four final concepts for presentation, after which the first direction was chosen for final development.
Once the final direction was approved, I created refined final artwork for the primary and secondary packaging across all three palette shades, preparing production-ready files with dielines and color specifications.
